Our Open Face Sand Spikes are a real game changer!!! Light weight and very durable these are constructed from 1.5" x .125" 6061 structural aluminum angle. The bottom cup is 3.5" tall and is 16" from the top. These spikes help increase your hook-up ratio by allowing you to get the rod out much quicker than other designs. Total length is 47.5" long. The sharp angle cut at the bottom sinks into the sand with ease!!! There are 4 different options with the open face sand spike to choose from, 47.5" with and without a foot peg and the 59.5" with and without the foot peg. All Tig welded and Made is America Quality!!!

Light and Easy

These are the lightest and easiest sand spikes I’ve used in 20+ years of surf fishing.
Rock them back and forth and easily sink them into the sand. A hidden feature I realized is that they stack into each other taking half the space of tube type spikes when traveling. Beautiful / clean welds. Can’t say enough about Brian’s work.

Worth the money!

Bought two open face spikes and as a dedicated ‘bait and wait’ type of guy, these spikes are well worth the cost. The quality and build on these spikes are nothing like I’ve ever seen compared to other spikes. The spikes also comes with a cushion on the open face so that you don’t scratch or damage your rod when you place it in the holder. Overall, very satisfied with these!

Excellent Sand Spike!

I had never used an open style sand spike and can say I really like them for long rods in rough surf. They allow you to keep the rod high but it is still easy to get the rod out when you have a bite. The fit and finish is great, all burrs and sharp edges were rounded and smoothed. The is also a foam piece on the top section that adds extra protection. Overall great product!
