The Open Face 2.0 Sand Spikes are excellent and top of the line. I didn’t realize that the Open Tube Spike and Surf Rod Holder have different size spikes from the Open Face 2.0 and don’t fit tightly in the Dolly fishing cart.
Absolutely love this new cart. Easy on the back and the smoothness of the ride is luxurious as my daughter says when she rides it lol. But seriously, this is an awesome cart that pays for it self in a few trips. Love the cart and you guys are awesome!!!!

A very use full item to have on your cart. I have a lift kit so I use two sets, the low one for my sand spikes and the higher one for my metal fish scale.
It was difficult to get in touch with the owner/fabricator, but it was worth it. He has created what we wanted. It looks heavy, but very light weight. We didn't order the open face 2.0 sand spike, so he made 3 for us last minutes. Can't wait to use it. Thank you.

I ordered the push cart handle and sand spike holder kit and it was expensive but worth it, yet the shipping was highway robbery. Too much for shipping!

We had the cart custom built for our family, and it has completely transformed our beach trips. As parents of three kids (all 3 and under), going to the beach used to feel like such an ordeal that we rarely made the 20-minute drive, despite living so close. This cart changed everything.
After talking with the Deerfield guys, I told them we wanted to take all our stuff and all our little kids - they took their standard fishing-style cart and added 6 inches of depth and enclosed the main compartment at no extra charge. The amazing engineering is evident in every detail: the enclosed storage area, phone/wallet storage compartment, chair rack system, and underneath shelf for storing tents. Everything has its place and stays organized.
Now we can do one trip from the car with all our stuff, one trip with the kiddos, and we're completely set up on the beach in 20 minutes. It's a game changer!
What impressed us most was how effortlessly it rolls, even fully loaded. The sand tires make it actually easier to push through soft sand than on pavement! While other families struggled with their equipment, we glided right past feeling like beach royalty. The kids absolutely love it, and it definitely turns heads.
The trailer hitch system is brilliant - so well thought out. All we had to add was a padlock. One person can load it onto the back of a Yukon. Everyone's reaction is the same: first they notice the wheels, then ask "How did you get that here? Do you have a huge truck?" Nope - just this seriously cool, trailer hitch system.
The quality is exceptional, the welds look amazing - you can tell this was built to last. Even at double the price, it would be worth every penny for how much it reduces the friction of getting to the beach with little ones.
These guys know what they're doing, and I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat. If you're on the fence about a custom beach cart, especially with young kids, don't hesitate.
Loved the handle and spike holders but with your expensive product, shipping charges well in excess of $100 is tooooo much!
A bunch of my friends have surf-mate racks, but they wouldn't work for me. I was lucky to find Deerfield fab and their rack system. The rack is just what I need for my rods,generator, and tackle. The craftsmanship with these racks is amazing. Let's just say my expectations were ment.
Mounts easily to cart, quality looks great. Looking forward to going fishing and trying it out.
