Finally pulled the trigger after breaking multiple PVC and other types of cheap spikes. This thing is solidly built and easy to use.
Best sand spike I have ever used. I have used several types. What make it the best is several things. #1 you can remove your rod easly after a hookup without tring to pull a rod up and out of a tube. #2 It is just a little taller than most so you rod and reel are at the hight to grab, set the hook, and fight the fish. #3 Clean design without a lot of extra things to get in the way. #4 An attached towel is a perfect touch.
I was not disappointed these spikes worked very well

Looks to be made well. Very nice welds. I wish it had a mount for the bottom rail. But its very sturdy
